Some older shots I forgot I had taken of Chicago DJ Willy Joy. It was a little impromptu shoot as he needed a photo for URB Magazine.
It was super cold that night and we struggled with those outdoor shots. I feel like I need to take some new photos of this dude! These are a little boring I must admit

Skyler is a (really good) DJ from Chicago. He needed some photos for a press kit so we did a little shoot. Nothing fancy, but I liked the second one.. the bokeh from the lights on the bar are rad, esp when I played with the focus with my fancy shallow dof trick I do. I also did a bunch of random photoshopping to it, perhaps a lil too much..

So my boy Ramses is apparently on his way to becoming a movie star and I had no idea! Haha.. we did some shots a while back which he used for his imdb page. Since he’s moving off to LA he wanted to do a few more shots before he left, nothing fancy. We went out and spent 15-20 minutes and came up with a few decent takes.
They were all shot with the 50mm/f1.4, aside from the one wider frame which was the 24mm/f1.4.

While out in Asia I looked up my old modelmayhem account password and looked to see if there were any models in Hong Kong who might want to shoot some photos. Befian replied and we got together one day and hung out and did some photos. It was totally spontaneous, nothing planned. We got a bit of a late start so we didn’t shoot a ton, but there are a few frames I liked.
Everything was shot on my 5D with either the 50mm f/1.4 or the 17-40mm f/4.5 along with two flashes (one on camera 220ex and an off camera with a Wein optical sensor to sync it).
