I’m on Flickr! And a random map..

I’ve gone and done it. It seemed for a while there that everyone was a flickr member. I never much saw the point, but recently figured I’d give it a second chance. Well, it turns out that I actually enjoyed the service–especially the map option. It was just cool enough for me to fork down the twenty bucks or so they decide to charge you after you post a hundred or so shots and start to get used to the thing. Very clever on their end, for sure.

The reason I bring this up here is that, well, very often this blog falls into neglect and if you’re interested in following my photos closer, subscribing to my flickr stream would be a good option, as I’ve been pretty good about keeping it up to date with current work. Also, don’t forget about my other blog, everyoneisfamous.com, which is largely nightlife and music-based.

And while on the topic of maps… I’ve long been wanting to create a separate blog to simply post cool maps and graphs I find while browsing the internet. The last thing I need is another blog, so I figure I’ll just mix things up here a bit from time to time if I feel the urge. So on that note, a random map!

Much is made of the outlandish national debt levels here in the United States (~$11trillion currently), but most people don’t usually think of it as a % of GDP. When factoring in GDP, the US is in much better shape when compared to the rest of the world’s developed nations. The world really does run on debt/credit, which is what makes these questionable economic times that much more frightening.
