so I was asked to shoot some interiors for “The World’s Best Club” here in Chicago, Smartbar. Well, I knew I’ve been needing a new tripod forever and this was a good excuse to go buy one. I stopped at Calumet on the way up there and dropped $110 on some new sticks, only to realize that the box did not include a tripod head. I guess you have to buy that separate, little did I know, as the display tripods right next to the boxes included the heads as well. Anyway, I got my shots from a little creativity (mostly just stacking up bar stools and small tables to the height I wanted) but it was still a hassle and a half, and probably not as high quality shots as I might’ve gotten with the right equipment.
