Since I’ve been on a bit of a wedding shooting kick the past few months, I figured I’d post a few shots up here for the heck of it. These are from the last wedding ceremony I shot in early September. I’ve got two more to shoot this weekend. I have to say I enjoy doing weddings. I never thought I would and avoided them for the longest time, but they’re not too bad. Anyway, some pictures…
The bride busy setting things up before we headed off to the ceremony location..
There you can see the famous ‘bean’ monument in Millennium Park.
New and old. The Trump Tower rising above the rest of Chicago.
Onto the ceremony..
All the birds flew up after the kiss when everyone started clapping.. wish I had video too!
You may know this guy, he’s fairly famous..
I’ll leave it at that. I’m still trying to find my “wedding-style” I think, but I’m pretty satisfied with the way things are going. Two more this weekend so we’ll see! I was planning to rent a tilt/shift lens to play with, but I figured that might be a bad thing to play with during paid gigs. I did, however, by change buy a t/s lens for my Nikon FM-2 today, so I will have that to play with instead!
Let me know what you think!
enjoy,
Clayton
